Large Forbidden Trade Volumes of Random Graphs

چکیده
Let G be a graph. A G-trade of volume m is a pair (T , T ′), where each of T and T ′ consists of m graphs, pairwise edge-disjoint, isomorphic to G, such that T ∩T ′ = ∅ and the union of the edge sets of the graphs in T is identical to the union of the edge sets of the graphs in T ′. Let X(G) be the set of non-negative integers m such that no G-trade of volume m exists. In this paper we prove that, for G ∈ G(n, 1 2), {1, 2, . . . , dcn/ log ne} ⊆ X(G) holds asymptotically almost surely, where c = log(4/3)/88.

متن کامل$n$-Array Jacobson graphs
We generalize the notion of Jacobson graphs into $n$-array columns called $n$-array Jacobson graphs and determine their connectivities and diameters. Also, we will study forbidden structures of these graphs and determine when an $n$-array Jacobson graph is planar, outer planar, projective, perfect or domination perfect.
متن کاملOffline thresholds for Ramsey-type games on random graphs
In this paper, we compare the offline versions of three Ramsey-type oneplayer games that have been studied in an online setting in previous work: the online Ramsey game, the balanced online Ramsey game, and the Achlioptas game. The goal in all games is to color the edges of the random graph Gn,m according to certain rules without creating a monochromatic copy of some fixed forbidden graph H. Wh...
متن کاملThe Cops and Robber game on graphs with forbidden (induced) subgraphs
The two-player, complete information game of Cops and Robber is played on undirected finite graphs. A number of cops and one robber are positioned on vertices and take turns in sliding along edges. The cops win if, after a move, a cop and the robber are on the same vertex. The minimum number of cops needed to catch the robber on a graph is called the cop number of that graph. In this paper, we ...
متن کاملPotential forbidden triples implying hamiltonicity: for sufficiently large graphs
In [2], Brousek characterizes all triples of connected graphs, G1, G2, G3, with Gi = K1,3 for some i = 1, 2, or 3, such that all G1G2G3free graphs contain a hamiltonian cycle. In [8], Faudree, Gould, Jacobson and Lesniak consider the problem of finding triples of graphs G1, G2, G3, none of which is a K1,s, s ≥ 3 such that G1G2G3-free graphs of sufficiently large order contain a hamiltonian cycl...
